Introduction

Public Safety Council Corporation (PSCC) is neither a government not police organization. It is a private initiative.
PSCC is an independent third-party facilitator of infrastructure, tools, resources, and approved solutions that support the Community Safety Standard for Buildings. The goal of PSCC is to enable the continuum of public safety, without compromising privacy rights or civil liberties.
PSCC is comprised of experienced community-minded professionals.

Privacy and Civil Liberties

When you contact us through the PSCC website form, we do keep your name, email and phone number and the particulars you share with us for direct communication with you. We do not share your personal contact information with authorities or with any third parties such as advertisers.

Maintain & Improve PSC

We may use the particulars of your communication with us to troubleshoot performance issues that you report to us. Furthermore, we may use your information to improve and/or to develop new PSCC services.

The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) requires specific disclosures for California residents. This Privacy Policy is designed to help you understand how PSCC handles your information.
We have explained how PSCC uses the information and why PSCC collects this data.
We have explained when and why PSCC may share your information. PSCC does not sell, lease, or rent your personal information.
The CCPA also provides you the right to request information about how PSCC collects, uses, and discloses your personal information. And it gives you the right to access your information and request that PSCC delete that information. Finally, the CCPA provides the right to not be discriminated against for exercising your privacy rights.
You can request to update or delete your personal data by using the contact form located on the PSCC website.
If you have questions or requests related to your rights under the CCPA, you (or your authorized agent) can contact PSCC by using the contact form located on the PSCC website.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

PSCC may from time to time change the terms of this Privacy Policy. Substantial changes will take effect 30 days after PSCC has posted a system message to users notifying them of changes to the Privacy Policy: and notification on PSCC’s website, explaining the changes to the Privacy Policy alongside a comparison of the “old” and “new” versions of the Privacy Policy.
Other changes will take effect 7 days after their initial posting on PSCC’s website. However, if PSCC amends this Privacy Policy to comply with legal requirements, the amendments will become effective immediately upon their initial posting, or as required.
You agree to be bound by any of the changes made in the terms of this Privacy Policy. Continuing to use PSCC will indicate your acceptance of the amended terms. If you do not agree with any of the amended terms, you must avoid any further use of PSCC.
